Justin Bieber is a Canadian singer, actor, and songwriter known for his strong passion for music. He taught himself to play several musical instruments from a young age. At twelve, he entered a local talent competition and came in second, which led his mother to post his performances on YouTube. These videos gained a large following, catching the attention of talent manager Scooter Braun. Braun arranged for Bieber to audition for Usher, who was impressed and helped him secure a record deal. Bieber's debut single "One Time" and album "My World" achieved global success. He also released the concert film "Never Say Never" in 2011. Bieber has sold over 150 million albums worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. His fans, known as Beliebers, have a massive worldwide following. Bieber's early music was primarily pop, but he later transitioned to electronic dance music (EDM) as his voice matured. On a personal level, Bieber had an on-again, off-again relationship with the famous singer Selena Gomez since 2010, but they often broke up and got back together until their final split in 2018.

He got engaged to model Hailey Baldwin in July 2018, four months after his split from Gomez, and they married in November of the same year. Bieber was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome in June 2022, a rare condition affecting the nerves of the ear and face, causing paralysis in parts of the face. This forced him to cancel several concerts and focus on recovering from the illness.
